Forever 5
Phoebe sang, danced, and loved fiercely. Research gave her 4 years—proof it saves lives. We wish it had given her a lifetime.

Forever 6
Griff’s laughter, love, and courage touched everyone around him. His legacy shines in every step toward cures for kids like him.

Why We Wear Gold
Gold is the official colour of childhood cancer awareness — symbolizing how precious every child is.
We wear gold because the fight for kids with cancer is too often invisible. Because awareness is the first step toward action. Because the children we’ve lost, the ones still fighting, and the ones who survive against the odds deserve to be seen.
How You Can help
Every child deserves a chance to grow up.
This September, you can turn awareness into action. From wearing gold to sharing stories, lighting up landmarks, and raising your voice for change, every gesture shows families they’re not alone—and pushes Canada closer to a system where no child is left behind.

Our Ask
We support calls for urgent federal action to:
-
Secure clinical trial access by replacing lost Children's Oncology Group funding
-
Ensure care isn’t disrupted by cross-border politics
-
Remove barriers to cross-provincial and international treatment
-
Implement a national pediatric cancer strategy
-
Fund research specifically for pediatric cancers (currently 3% of the 7% funding is temporary and set to expire within six months)
-
Build national standards for survivorship care
-
Ensure equitable access for Indigenous, rural, and underserved communities
We’re here to raise public awareness, uplift family voices, and show why this change can’t wait.

Go Gold for Kids with Cancer
Every child deserves life-saving cancer care – no matter where they live.
Childhood cancer is the number one disease-related cause of death among Canadian children. Yet too often, their care depends on where they live — not what they need.
This September, we’re going gold to raise awareness and demand federal leadership. It’s time to tear down the barriers that delay or deny life-saving care.
Kids with cancer deserve One Canada. No borders. No delays. No excuses.
