About the event
Join patients, families, researchers, and advocates on Parliament Hill as we call on Canada’s leaders to establish a dedicated National Childhood Cancer Strategy.
Childhood cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death in Canadian children, yet pediatric cancer receives a fraction of federal research and health funding.
We are gathering in Ottawa to call on the Government of Canada to fund and implement a National Pediatric Cancer Strategy that creates a future where every child has access to world-class care, faster discoveries, and a better chance at a healthy life.
We will be taking a group photo around 12:15 pm. Sam Taylor of the Deep C Podcast will be our MC and will be speaking with members of the childhood cancer community.
This is a grassroots event planned by families impacted by childhood cancer.
