On September 17, join us on Parliament Hill as part of Go Gold, Golden Moms Ottawa’s campaign to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We’ll light up Parliament Hill in gold — a powerful symbol and a reminder that every child affected by cancer is precious and deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.


Why gold?


Gold is the official colour of childhood cancer awareness. It represents how precious every child is. It reminds us that their fight is often invisible — the treatments, the hospital stays, the long road afterward — yet they show incredible strength. Gold is a beacon of hope, honouring those who are still fighting, remembering those we have lost, and celebrating survivors.
